Title: Mrs Black’s First Christmas
Wizard/Witch: Sirius Black/Hesper Gamp
Rating/Warnings: NC-17 Adults Only
Word count: Exactly 500
Prompt: 23. Emerald encrusted snuffbox
Summary: In 1900, Hesper celebrates Christmas morning as the new Mrs Black.
Sirius stood at the top of the grand staircase, eyebrows knitted together. The family honour and his betrothal to Hesper were in jeopardy because his sod of a brother had fallen in love with a filthy Muggle.
If he felt any remorse at all, Phineas didn’t show it. He walked out of the study and past the staircase, shoulders squared, nose upturned. A wintry chill filled the foyer as he opened the door.
Sirius wasn’t sure why he’d called him. What was there to say? He certainly didn’t condone his brother’s behaviour. It was obvious as Phineas turned to look at him, hand never leaving the door, that there was no lost love between them. Phineas smirked and walked out the door for the last time.
Arrangements and assurances were hastily made. In less than a fortnight, Sirius Black was married to Hesper Gamp, just as he planned.
The crackling fire warming their bedchamber was a stark contrast to the heavy snowstorm falling outside.
Hesper’s nude body lounged placidly against Sirius. Her petite hand lightly travelled down his chest, while she trailed small kisses from the crook of his neck to his chin.
“I dare say you get great enjoyment from tempting me, Mrs Black.”
Hesper giggled against Sirius’s chest as he caressed her back.
“I was under the impression you enjoyed my ministrations, Mr Black.” She gave him an impish smile, one perfect eyebrow arching for emphasis.
Eyes slightly out of focus, Sirius sighed against her brown curls. “You play an unfair game,” he rasped against her ear.
“I can stop, if that’s your wish,” she whispered back.
Her hand slid to his erect manhood. He kissed her deeply, pressing her hand against him.
“There is something I would like to do before we continue,“ he whispered back.
Surprised he wanted to stop, Hesper kept her hand where it was.
“Accio box!” A silver package flew towards them, and Sirius dexterously caught it mid flight.
“Merry Christmas, Mrs Black,” he offered, grinning at her.
Hester moved to lean against his chest and unwrapped an emerald encrusted snuffbox. Caressing it daintily she looked over at Sirius. He smiled and nodded encouragingly. Her eyes shone with excitement at the exquisite emerald necklace and earrings she found within.
Sirius took the necklace from the box and placed it over her bare neck. “They’re family heirlooms, and I want you to wear them to the ball tonight.”
Hesper smiled, lightly caressing the cool emeralds against her skin.
Tilting her chin up to him, Sirius kissed her softly, lightly nibbling her lips, while her hand snaked down his chest again. Hesper tilted her head to deepen their kiss, their tongues met just as her hand found her mark, and he moaned into her mouth.
She would take on her role as the new Mrs Black tonight, but until then, nothing stopped her from enjoying her husband’s body as much as she desired. She smiled as she heard him moan again. Merry Christmas, indeed.
Author's Notes: A while ago I re-read some of the stories from Challenge Ten: Pride and Prejudice, and started thinking about the pair I wrote back then, wondering about the life I had long ago crafted for them. When I started writing this challenge, Sirius and Hesper happily accepted to join me, allowing me to explore their happy life a bit more. The Sirius Black in this story lived from 1877-1952.
seaislewitch, thanks for looking at this last minute! I dont know what would I do without you always there to save my sorry neck! ILU!
